As one of the exciting programmes of the World Book Day, the English Department of Ho Yu College and Primary School is going to host the Unusual Reading Spot Contest! Students enjoy having their photos taken while reading in an unusual place. Students might be found reading at the beach, near a famous landmark, in a basketball hoop, or any places your imagination takes you. Our students read EVERYWHERE!
In the photos, students should be visibly reading a book – and we should clearly be able to see the book cover (see the examples below). The best ones will be displayed on the school campus during the Book Week.
Any student attending Ho Yu Primary School! (One entry per student)
from NOW until 28th February, 2019
Participating students must turn in a 4R-sized photo printed on a photo paper (hard copy). The submissions will be voted by a panel of judges. The digital files of the winning images should be submitted (please take the photo in the highest resolution your camera will allow) so that we may enlarge it for display.
Additionally, please do not Photoshop or edit the photo – we would like it to be as authentic of an image as possible.
Attach your contest entry photo with the participation form and return them to your English teacher.
